BeiGeneration Award
This award has been made possible with an unrestricted grant from BeiGene to support the optimisation of care for patients with B-cell hematological malignancies.
The call for applications for the BeiGeneration Award 2025 is now CLOSED.
The “BeiGeneration Award” jury will select two (2) innovative projects that will contribute to the optimisation of care for patients with B-cell hematological malignancies and will be awarded 25.000 EUR each.
The award ceremony will take place during 40th BHS general annual meeting on February 7-8, 2025.

Participation requirements
The application must preferably be written in English** and must consist of :
- Description of the research project including costs and time frame (max. 2 pages) Detailed project form BeiGeneraration Award 2025
- Information form containing the different project members and including the curriculum vitae of the applicant
- Motivational letter (max 1 page)
- Letter of support by a promoter from the department where the research will be performed (max. 1 page)
- List of publications (if applicable)

Who can apply?
The candidate must fulfill all criteria below:
- Take care of patients with B-cell hematological malignancies
- May not be an employee of the pharmaceutical industry
The prize money cannot be allocated to fund a salary; however, it can cover activity and material costs.
Which projects are eligible?
Projects focused on the optimisation of care for patients with B-cell hematological malignancies (Waldenström, MZL, CLL/SLL, FL, MCL …) both in hospital or outpatient setting (but with a link to the hospital), dedicated to improve the patient journey of patients with B-cell hematological malignancies and their outcomes, such as multidisciplinary clinical projects (involving for instance hematologists, hospital pharmacists, nurses, onco or hemato coaches, psychologists, onco-cardiologists, …), data generation projects (such as registries, real-world evidence…) or other innovative projects. The project must not be directly linked to the use of a specific pharmaceutical specialty. The project must be carried out in compliance with the Protection of Privacy Law.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be informed non-selected projects from previous years may be resubmitted if they meet the eligibility criteria.
Evaluation criteria
- Relevance and impact of the project in the improvement of lymphoma patient care (50%)
- Originality of the project in terms of the proposed theme (25%)
- Feasibility of the project (20%)
- Relevance of the budgetary estimate (5%)
The Prize awards
Two (2) prize awards of 25.000 euros each will be given to 2 different winners.
