The Belgian Hematology Society is pleased to invite you in its first seminar dedicated to Artificial Intelligence in Hematology on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the "Montefiore Campus" in Liege.

16 May 2026 - 16 May 2026

Montefiore Campus, Liège

Organised by
BHS

This one-day meeting will combine high-level lectures from internationally recognised AI experts with interactive workshops to facilitate direct exchanges among clinicians, researchers, and AI specialists in dedicated fields.

Highlights of the program include a presentation by an engineer on AI research strategy at Apple, as well as a closing session addressing the ethical challenges of artificial intelligence in medicine animated by an expert philosophe in the field.

Between these sessions, participants will join small-group workshops where clinicians and scientists can discuss specific projects with PhD students working in artificial intelligence. Topics will include histology image analysis, flow cytometry data interpretation, genomics, machine learning approaches, and dataset development.

The goal of this seminar is simple: to bridge the gap between medicine and artificial intelligence by creating a common language between hematologists and AI researchers. The chairs are currently fine-tuning the detailed programme.

This is a free event conducted on English.
BHS members only.
