Young hematologists support
The BHS keeps promoting the education of young hematologists and decided to support the attendance of young hematologists at La Cantera and the European School of Hematology
*A “young” hematologist is defined as a hematologist in training or trained for less than 5 years.
The BHS wants to promote the education of young hematologists and decided to support the attendance to:
LA CANTERA
La Cantera is a seminar organized by Professor Massimo Federico with the support of EHA (European Hematology Association). This seminar is dedicated to young European hematologists (under the supervision of 2 coaches) in the field of lymphoma.
The seminar will take place in Lecce (Italy) from Tuesday 14th to Friday 17th of April 2026. Prof. Pier Luigi Zinzani will coach on "The dynamic revolution of the therapeutic landscape in the Management of B-cell and T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas".
One different Belgian young hematologist will be invited to this event during the next 3 years and they will be supported by the BHS grant.

The grant will cover the registration fees, travel expenses, and accommodation*.
*Reimbursement of expenses will be based on original invoices. Travel by plane needs to be in economy class.

The BHS grant will support up to two young hematologists per course.
The grant will cover their registration fees, travel expenses, and accommodation.*
*Reimbursement of expenses will be based on original invoices. Travel by plane will be in economy class and by train in 2nd class.
